TESS MILLARD SAUL joined Millard Design in 2011 upon her return from Paris, France where she began her freelance design career. Since joining the team, she has designed over 50 salons across the country for Redken, Kerastase, L’Oreal Professionnel and Matrix. Tess attended Cornell University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in American History and Government. Her background in the beauty and PR industries is extensive, having worked in the PR department for Lancome and has handled the PR for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, The Carlyle Hotel, and the fragrance divisions of Hugo Boss, Escada and Lacoste.
PETER MILLARD is a New York City based designer focusing on retail spaces in the beauty industry with clients including Redken, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, Armani, Essie, L’Oreal and Chanel. For the past 15 years, Peter has had the incredible experience of being a Redken performing artist , touring the globe to meet with salon owners who want to take their salons and retail sales to the next level. Peter also has a long and distinguished portfolio of beautiful events including the fragrance launches of Ralph Lauren Safari, Lancome Miracle, Paloma Picasso Minotaur and high profile sales meetings for Redken, Godiva and Ralph Lauren.
SUSAN OH KWON is Peter Millard’s design partner of 18+ years, working with him closely on projects for Ralph Lauren, Redken, L’Oreal Professionnel, Essie and many others. Susan received her Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, before going to Columbia University where she earned a Masters in Architecture. She worked with Cetra/Ruddy Architecture for 3 years where she was instrumental in the design of high-end residential condos. Some of her projects include 200 East 79th Street in Manhattan, Choice Marina in Kerala, India as well as a renovation project of the Verizon Building at 210 West 18th street in Manhattan. She is a Registered Architect in the State of New York and is a LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C).
